What ytmp3 does
ytmp3 turns a YouTube link into an MP3 or MP4 file, right in your browser. Paste the link once and you see every format the video offers: MP3 audio at 320, 256, 192, 128 or 64 kbps, and MP4 video from 144p up to 1080p, each with its real file size.
It is free, and you don't need an account or an app. ytmp3 works the same on an Android phone, an iPhone, a tablet or a computer. You choose the quality, tap Download, and the file opens right away in a new tab, so this page stays where it is. The size is shown before you save, so there are no surprises on mobile data.

Copy the link
In the YouTube app, tap Share and then Copy link. On a computer, copy the address from the browser bar.

Saving on your phone
iPhone and iPad
In Safari, press and hold the quality you want and choose Download Linked File. The file goes to the Files app under Downloads, where you can open or share it.
Android
Tap a quality and the file opens in a new Chrome tab. If it starts playing, tap the three dots and then the download icon. You find it in your Downloads folder.
Computer
The file opens in a new tab. If it plays there, use the player's menu or right-click and save it. It lands in your usual Downloads folder.
Fix it fast
It says the link isn't a YouTube link
Copy the full link again from the Share menu or the address bar, then paste it into the bar.
The video can't be opened
It may be private, removed or blocked in your region. Try another link.
The file plays instead of saving
Browsers often play video and audio in the new tab. Use the browser or player menu to download it, or press and hold the quality and save the link.
Nothing happens when I tap Download
Some apps open links in their own browser. Open this page in Chrome or Safari and try again.

Yes. ytmp3 is free, and you can convert as many links as you like. There is no account, no trial and no payment step.
Which formats and qualities can I get?
You can save MP3 audio at 320, 256, 192, 128 or 64 kbps, or MP4 video in any resolution the video offers from 144p to 1080p. Each MP4 option shows its file size.
Is there a file size limit?
No. Long videos work too, at every resolution. Each option shows its real size before you save, so on mobile data you can pick a smaller one like 360p.
How do I save a file on my iPhone?
Open this page in Safari and paste the link. Press and hold the quality you want and choose Download Linked File. The file then appears in the Files app under Downloads.
How do I save a file on Android?
Use Chrome or another browser, paste the link and tap a quality. The file opens in a new tab; if it plays, tap the three dots and the download icon. It lands in your Downloads folder.
Do I need an app or an account?
No. ytmp3 runs in the browser you already have. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for, on phones, tablets and computers.
Does ytmp3 work with Shorts and share links?
Yes. Paste a Shorts link, a share link from the YouTube app, a mobile link or a YouTube Music link. Shorts keep their vertical frame in the preview.
Do you keep the links I paste or the files I save?
No. The link is only used to prepare your file, and we keep no history of links, files or downloads. The Privacy Policy has the details.
