Who we are

This policy explains how ytmp3 handles information when you use this website. In this policy, "ytmp3", "we" and "us" mean the ytmp3 website and the people who run it. You can reach us at any time at contact@ytmp3.yachts.

What happens to the link you paste

When you paste a YouTube link, it is sent to our server and passed to a processing partner for one reason only: to prepare the MP3 or MP4 file you asked for.

We do not keep the links you paste, the formats we find or any history of your downloads. Once the list of formats reaches your screen, nothing is stored on our side for later.

You don't need an account to use ytmp3, so we never ask for your name, email address or a password to convert a video.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga), and Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

You can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. We still show no ads, you do not need an account, and we do not keep the links you paste or the files you download.

Hosting and delivery data

Like every website, ytmp3 is served through hosting and network providers. To deliver pages and protect the service from abuse, these providers may process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the time of your request.

This data is used for delivery and security only. We do not use it to identify you or to market anything to you.

Images and files from other servers

Video thumbnails load directly from YouTube's image servers, so YouTube may receive the usual technical data your browser sends with any image request.

When you tap a quality, your browser fetches the file directly from the video's source servers. The file never passes through our own servers.

Messages you send us

If you write to us by email or through the contact form, we use your message and contact details only to answer you. We don't add you to mailing lists, and we never sell or share your message.

Children

ytmp3 is a general tool and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights and questions

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. Because we keep no download history and need no account, there is usually very little to look up.
